I know this is tough to do. For the best perspective ask a few of your coworkers what they would say. I once led a “30 Second Pitch” training with a coffee group. I witnessed people who describe themselves with drab phrases. No way I would hire or recommend them! However, when their coworkers told about them everyone would want them on their team. Even they were amazed by what they heard about themselves. (Call and ask others what they would say about you. When you start hearing the same words repeatedly you will know you have found the key to understanding, and selling, yourself. You may already have some material in your LinkedIn recommendations. If not give some out and you will get some back.

Employers and recruiters can search these and request your resume. We will confirm the job is a potential match, and not your employer, before sending it to anyone.
Here is the scene:
You are on your way to an interview. You step onto the elevator along with a stranger. The doors close and he asks, “Are you here to interview for the xxx job?”. You confirm this, and then he says, “Tell me about yourself, what makes you qualified for the job?”.
You take another look and recognize him from your LinkedIn research. He would be your bosses boss! He will approve or kill your chances of getting the job. For all the marbles, knowing you only have 30 seconds, or less, you answer, “…….
